Knowledge of Hebrew
Kindly note:
The information currently displayed on the website might change from time to time, hence, the admission requirements and application options for Fall 2025 semester (Semester A) will be provided after 2.2.2025.
- Candidates who take the psychometric test in Hebrew are exempt from Hebrew studies.
- Candidates who take the psychometric test not in Hebrew must take the Yael/Yaelnet Hebrew tests. Those who do not obtain a grade of at least 121 in this test will not be accepted to the Technion.
The test consists of two parts: multiple-choice questions and writing an essay. The duration of the test is one and a half hours.
It is possible to take the Yael/Yaelnet Tests more than once. The Technion accepts the highest grade, not necessarily the last grade, in this situation.
Yael/Yaelnet Grade | Level of Exemption |
---|---|
Up to 121 | Exemption |
120 | Can not be accepted to the Technion |
